The primary constituent of the base material for our analogs is bovine bone, and the calcified nodules (bone chips) contained measure 500-700um.
CPL800 Series simulate softer calcified plaque with larger voids between calcified nodules. CPL1200 Series simulates the hardest of human plaques which only the most robust atherectomy devices can handle.
Available in diameters ranging from 3-19mm, and lengths from 5-50mm (comes in segments of 10mm), you can test or train on your device under various plaque conditions.
CPLs can be easily machined on the user end to different widths, lengths and levels of occlusion (lumen) to fulfill your testing or training needs. We can also handle special requests if you are unable to machine the pieces to your requirements.
